An oil pastel (and colored pencil for the hand) piece I just finished up for my Drawing II class. The prompt was to draw our hand interacting in a place that we'd like to be. I chose Ko Olina, Hawaii- my happy place
 We go there for one week every summer, and it is the most wonderful place in the world.  Anywho. I took a picture, because my scanner never works right (and is too small) and tried to level and such in Photoshop, but it's still a bit garish... especially the water; it was butchered. D: But I like this a whole lot (except for the hand, but that's a longish story and it's late), so I thought I might as well share it!  Comments

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
